What Rewards Mean

XP, badges, streaks, titles, mastery indicators, and challenge progress help learners see effort and progress over time. They do not represent grades, examination marks, money, cryptocurrency, store credit, or transferable property.

How Rewards Are Earned

Practice outcomes are verified by Curious Maths server-side systems. The learner submits their mathematical work or answer; the application determines correctness, progression, and any resulting reward. Client-side display code is not the authority for XP or achievements.

Free And Pro Learners

Free and Pro learners may both earn progress on practice they are entitled to access. Pro changes the breadth of available practice, not the integrity of scoring. Learning Hub articles and interactive visualizers remain available without a Pro subscription.

Healthy Use

Reward systems should support learning rather than pressure a child to remain online. Streaks and badges are secondary to understanding. Parents and learners should feel comfortable stopping a session when study goals are complete.

Corrections

If a technical fault creates an incorrect reward or progress record, Curious Maths may correct the affected record to restore accurate learning history. Corrections should not be used to penalize legitimate learning activity.
